Nars blush in Orgasm

Nars Orgasm blush 21.50£ / Ganni knit
Described as "Peachy pink with golden shimmer" I was kind of hesitant when I first discovered this blush; it really did look wayyy too peachy and shimmery for me online. I have fair/pale skin (NC15 for reference) and corals and peachy colours tend look orange on me, therefore I tend to avoid them.
But with a light hand the famous Orgasm blush works fine with me. It really does wonders on the cheeks. I apply it with a big stippling brush for a minimum controlled amount of product.
Surprisingly I quite like the golden shimmer. I thought it would look way too golden and noticeable but it blended smoothly and just gave a beautiful sheer highlight (and makes it look glorious in the pan!)
The pink tones mostly show up on me and it's definitely buildable. The color lasts all day and doesn't break me out.

I own the colour Sin as well and Nars blushes are great and highly recommended! I can't wait to get more colours, but due to the price I think they're gonna be considered a treat or reward every once in awhile.

Do you have the Orgasm blush and what do you think of it?

Topshop Velvet Lips in Velveteen Ribbon

Topshop Velvet Lips in Velveteen Ribbon £10.00
Reading through multiple beauty blogs I discovered Topshop's Velvet Lips a couple months ago and felt a need to try it out. At first I was a little scared since they weren't online and Topshop in Denmark doesn't get all of their beauty stuff - but I found it in store!

The packaging is nice; the glass tube and the frosty top makes it very sleek-looking and pretty. I like the gloss-like applicator since it applies the product a lot more precise which is necessary with this one since it can (MIGHT) get a little tricky.
The product itself is kind of weird for me. I absolutely love the look and finish. The color is a little off on the picture (sorry), it is less blue toned in real life. With two applications you get the sexiest dark burgundy lips that will stay matte FOREVER. The finish is so soft and velvety, just like the name. One coat works fine as well but you have to work quickly. Once it's dry it's very very very dry.
It lasts forever as well - the staying power is insane, I have never experienced anything like it. It's almost impossible to remove which can be annoying when you actually want it off. I'm serious, it won't come off.
Touching up during a night out can be a little difficult; I would definitely define it as drink-proof but when drinking and talking and what else happens it does tend to wear off at the center, which can make it look like you just terribly outlined your lips, and because of the dry, matte finish, when laying more over it, the parts with products left will just get darker and yeah - just be careful.

Overall it is a nice lip product however I'm not a fan of it's stubbornness while removing.

Sunday music

Lazy sunday demands good music. At least for me. I've loved music all my life, but due to school, work, etc. I feel like I'm lacking on discovering of new music.

BUT a couple of weeks ago I jumped on the band wagon and started loving The 1975. I feel a bit late on this. However their debut album is absolutely fantastic and they deserve all the hype. I just saw on Matt Healy's instagram that they're shooting a video for the song 'Settle Down' very soon which makes me incredibly happy, 'Settle Down' is one of the best ones on the album.
I saw their iTunes Festival performance a couple days ago on YouTube and I fell in love even harder. They are worth checking out if you like me haven't given them a go yet. I've heard they're amazing live so I'm hoping they'll make their way around Copenhagen soon.

I've been a solid Beyoncé-girl for as long as I can remember. There's something about her that makes me feel so good about myself like I can do anything. To me she stands for all the power, confidence and beauty that inspires me so much. She's incredible. Her new album made my life worth living in cold and busy december, but the last week or so I've been obsessed with the track 'Schoolin' Life' from the deluxe edition of 4. She is magic.

Let's talk about her husband. Hip hop and rap is without doubt my guilty pleasure, just like Beyonce I often find it oddly empowering. 'Fuck With Me You Know I Got It' takes me places and I instantly get into beast-mode (I can't believe I just said that). I am listening to it as I'm writing this and it always make difficult essay-writing a lot easier. The instrumental is sick.
However I wasn't that impressed with the MCHG album, I do prefer his older stuff.

I feel like I should expand my musical horizon, can you guys recommend something for me to listen to?
